Emails can be tricky because you don't always have an email address for each of your donors, and for those that you do - 17% of Americans create a new email address every 6 months. 2. UPDATE YOUR PHONE NUMBERS (don't forget SMS)
- While calling donors is time intensive, it is by far the single most effective way to increase your donations. However, no matter how wonderful your script is or how passionate your callers are, if you do not have a current, accurate phone number for your donors then you are in big trouble. And if your organizations sends texts, this is THE day to text your donors.
3. EMPLOYER MATCHING GIFTS
- After your team has raised a record number of donations of #GivingTuesday, wouldn't it be incredible if you could DOUBLE that number for free?
